My Story
My name is Anna, and my journey into counseling began with a desire to understand the quiet resilience of the human spirit. I know what it feels like to navigate seasons where everything feels loud, cluttered, or simply "too much." For many of the women I work with in Connecticut, life isn't just one stressor, it's the intersection of anxiety, ADHD executive functioning hurdles, or the weight of a major transition.
My path eventually led me to Texas, where I was struck by the beauty of the Bluebonnet, a wildflower that doesn't just survive but thrives in challenging soil. This became the heart of my practice. I moved back home to serve the community here, bringing that same belief that you have the capacity for growth, even when your current environment feels harsh or unyielding.
When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my dog Utah, who is my official therapy assistant as he's usually sleeping under my desk during sessions.
My Therapeutic Approach
Evidence-based tools for day-to-day support
Individualized Tools
We will work together to build a toolkit of practical, evidence-based strategies tailored specifically to your needs. My focus is on providing you with actionable methods to manage anxiety and OCD in the moments they arise, helping you regain a sense of mastery over your daily life.
Mindfulness & Resilience
Growth often happens in the spaces we least expect. By incorporating mindfulness and acceptance techniques, we aim to transform how you relate to your thoughts and environment. This approach fosters a deep, internal resilience that allows you to flourish through life's transitions.
Remote Care Privacy
Therapy should be accessible and confidential. I provide fully remote care across Connecticut via Headway, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. This ensures your privacy while allowing you to engage in meaningful work from the safety and comfort of your own environment.
